Waterfalls Near Redding CA
McCloud Falls are three distinct falls all within two miles. They are located about an hour drive north of Redding and only five miles east of McCloud. The smallest and easiest to get to is the lower falls,

McCloud Falls are three distinct falls all within two miles. They are located about an hour drive north of Redding and only five miles east of McCloud. The smallest and easiest to get to is the lower falls, while the most dramatic is the upper due to how it emerges from a narrow space between the rocks to a large pool (a favorite for fishermen). The middle falls has a wider gap and the falls spread out across the rocky base. All three of the McCloud Falls are connected by a trail and are easy to to view from the viewing areas, getting close to the upper and middle falls is a bit difficult.
