Own a large part of historic French Gulch including about a half mile of Clear Creek. French Gulch was founded by French miners in 1849 and became one of California's major gold producing areas. There appears to be 2 named mines or patents; One being Dudley and the other named Hughes as shown on the Assessor's Map. There are also large piles of old creek tailings. There are mineral rights according to the title company who researched it for me.
